Cancer Patient Weds His Girlfriend in Emotional Ceremony From His Death Bed

Ray Kershaw, 63, had hoped to marry his girlfriend Tracy Brooks, 45, next year, but he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March. Due to this life altering illness, Ray and Tracy organised an emergency wedding, and exchanged their vows on Saturday from his hospital bed.

Ray has cancer of the small intestine and is currently being cared for at Springhill Hospice in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The sun reports that the couple, who both live in Shawclough, Rochdale, were originally planning to tie the knot on June 8, but Ray’s  condition worsened, urging them to move up the wedding day to Saturday.
