Two Men in Cameroon Jailed for Sodomizing 10 Year Old Boy
A High Court in Cameroon recently presided over a case in which a 78- year -old and 28-year-old man sexually molested of a 10-year-old boy.
Cameroon Concord News reports that Ruben, 28, and Judas, 78, on the night of February 8th and 9th 2016, took the the 10-year-old victim, who went outside to empty a trash with a wheelbarrow from his family house. The victims reportedly lost the wheel barrow, out of fear of being punished, he found refuge in the hangar of a travel agency located in a near by area. Having seen him at about 11.30 pm, the accused arrested him and charged him with the theft of several gas cylinders and a large sum of money in an unidentified agency’s shop.
They reportedly took him home and asked his guardians to pay the sum of 150 000 FCFA, but later settled for 70,000 FCFA. The incident however got sketchy, as the two men after receiving the money turned back and forced the child to have anal sexual intercourse with them. The child’s constant screams alerted residents and passers-by who drew the attention of the police at around 5am.
According to the victim, it was the old man who took off the young boy’s underpants and asked him to kneel down. Then they proceeded to brutalize and sodomize him. Ruben and Judas have however pleaded not guilty. They have been remanded in prison. The verdict of this case is expected on the 13th of June.
