Dear MIMsters: How I Ended the Circle of Child Abuse and Child Labour in my Home

My husband brought his niece who is an 11 year-old girl to live with and help us out with domestic chores against my wish. Employing an underaged person is child abuse and child labour and I didn’t want that. Seeing clearly that the girl is better off living with us, I accepted her on the condition that I am allowed to employ a matured domestic help so that his niece can be allowed to be a child.

To cut long story short, I found out that this girl was obviously abused in every way one can imagine. She is a professional liar, a thief, and displays unimaginable acts of deception. With her, everyday comes with a new problem both at school and at home.

I continued training her till I caught her kissing my son in an x-rated way. I’m a pregnant house wife with an 11 months old son. I called her mom who first told me that her daughter was corrupted by their help who is 2 years older than her daughter and is still living with them. I sent her back against my husband’s wish before the circle repeats itself in my household. I advised my husband to sustain her financially if he wants.
