See the Disgraceful Thing This Young Mother Did to Her 6-Month-Old Baby Boy

A young mother Lovily Johnson of Wyoming, Michigan, has been charged to court for alleged murder and felony child abuse in the death of her son, Noah Johnson, according to court records.

According to PEOPLE, Johnson told police she intentionally left the child in his car seat in the apartment where they were staying without food or air conditioning for two days.

Johnson appeared for her arraignment in Wyoming District Court via video. A not guilty plea was entered on her behalf, according to the Free Press.

Prosecutors alleged that on July 17, Johnson put her 6-month-old baby boy, Noah Johnson, into his car seat and left him on the upper floor of her Wyoming apartment with no air conditioning for two days.

While on the 19th of July, Johnson brought the deceased infant to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Detectives arrived shortly after and placed Johnson under arrest after interviewing her.

Wyoming Detective Robert Meredith wrote probable cause affidavit obtained that upon arrival, Noah was clearly deceased and had been for some time, before brought into the hospital.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Johnson admitted that although she was home multiple times a day during that time frame, she knowingly and intentionally deprived him of the necessities of life by not feeding him since Monday evening.

Johnson’s other child, a two-year-old daughter, has been placed under the supervision of the state Department of Health and Human Services. Wyoming District Court Judge Steven M. Timmers ordered her held without bond pending her next court appearance on August 2.

What would make a mother do this to a child she bore? Could this have to do with depression? Her reason is yet to be revealed as she is still undergoing interrogation in court.
