How to Avoid Getting Raped | Singer Dencia Advises Women

Cameroonian/ Nigerian-born singer Reprudencia Sonkey, known by her stage name Dencia, has some words of advice for women on limiting the attempt in getting raped.

According to the fashion designer and philanthropist, women should stop putting themselves in any situation that can make someone rape them.

The Whitenicious CEO says places, people and even outfits ladies wear should be paid attention as ‘you can’t control others but can control yourself’.

She concluded that women get Raped by their husbands, family members etc but for the cases that can be prevented, women should try prevent it.

”Let those who have eyes see, those with ears, hear, those with brains process.

Dear women, please avoid putting yourselves in situation to get hurt. As a woman and an adult, we know better. Stop letting the media or people say oh men need to do better, men need to control themselves. You can only control how you feel, think or act. You can’t control others. Once you get hurt, it never goes away.

Avoid putting yourselves in any type of situation that can make someone RAPE you. Be mindful of the people, places, outfits you wear, getting high and drunk when there is no one to look out for you.
