What Can Happen to Your Veejay If You Do Not Have Enough S*x According to Study

Just when you thought you had enough to worry about, then you realize having a depressed vagina is a thing and women are also at risk of vaginal decay or vaginal dryness according to a report in the SUN

Vaginal atrophy, or dryness, is a common disorder that affects most women at some stage in their lives. Symptoms include discharge, burning, itching, difficulty urinating and pain during sex.

A therapist research has claimed that regularly s*x reduces the risk of vaginal dryness and vaginal decay in women. She said it allows blood flow and strengthens the vaginal tissues.

London-based sex therapist Louise Mazanti has shared her research that say, regular orgasms help to keep vaginal tissue healthy, meaning it is less likely to become inflammed, thin or dry,

Sex either with a partner or self is said to improve blood flow to the intimate area, resulting in more oxygen reaching the vagina, which strengthens its tissues and keeps the vagina healthy.

Aside from physical health, regular orgasms also help to boost mental wellbeing by reducing the risk of depression and making women feel sexually attractive, Ms Manzanti adds.

She recommends that women get intimate to boost their mental health. And while it can be a problem for women of any age, it is more likely to effect women who are going through, or have been through menopause.

Vagina atrophy can allow thinning and drying of the vaginal walls due to the body having less oestrogen than normal. It can also occur in women who have had treatment for cancer or hormone treatment for breast cancer.

Loiuse’s study comes after a research that was conducted back in July revealed that, having sex once a week slows ageing in women, even if they do not enjoy it which is not entirely true.

Women’s telomeres lengthen with regular love making regardless of whether they are sexually satisfied in their relationship, the research concluded.
