Dear MIMsters: Every Method to Stop Breastfeeding My Toddler Has Failed. I Need Help!
I need advice on how to wean my over grown baby from breastfeeding.
I have tried all the methods I know without any success. My baby is one year and two months old who is already walking and can even run around.
She eats solids very well but her breast sucking is really disturbing me. When I got a job, I stopped her during the day but at midnight, she cries and reaches out for it.

I have tried to give her water or tea but she has refused to take them as substitutes even while closing her eyes. When I can’t bear it anymore, I will have to breastfeed her.
I have even tried the bitter leaf method by applying it on my nipples but she will suck it all off. I have dipped a finger into this bitter herbs called ruzu bitters to rob on my breasts but she still suck it all off. Now, I really do not know what else to try. Do you have any workable tips for me? I really want to stop breastfeeding her.

Stay away from her for 2 days. Usually if babies don’t get the breast milk for two or more days, they forget. So take her to a family member or your mom for a weekend and see what happens next.
