New Details Emerge on the Rumoured New Wife of Ooni of Ife

A lady with the Instagram name Abishine, went viral yesterday after the above photo of her in what looked like royal outfit, sparked rumours that she was the new wife of the Ooni of Ife (read here).

The truth, however, is that she is NOT the new wife of the Ooni of Ife.

The Instagram user, who recently celebrated her birthday, had a photo shoot that included this Queen-inspired shot which she shared on her page. Unfortunately, someone picked it up and started a story that she may be the new Olori. This claim is false!

Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s marriage to Wuraola Zaynab Otiti allegedly crashed less than two years after it was contracted in an elaborate ceremony.

Sources revealed that the marriage failed way back as March 2017, adding that Wuraola has moved out of the palace and relocated to Lagos, and that a new queen has been picked and will be unveiled in September.

Meanwhile, Palace authorities debunked the news of a crack in the marriage and the choosing of a new queen, but this morning, the former queen, Wuraola officially released a statement confirming the end of their 17 months old marriage (read here).
