Lil Wayne’s Daughter Regina Carter Updates Fans On Father’s Health Scare

Reginae Carter, daughter of rapper Lil Wayne, made a social media update on Monday regarding the status of her father’s recent health scare.

The 34-year-old rapper was allegedly rushed to the hospital on Sunday after he was found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room – he had suffered a seizure.

Regina, 18, who took to her Twitter to keep fans updated, said the rapper is getting better and doing okay.

“My dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concerns. you guys are amazing.”

She went further to caution fans in a second tweet that they should not believe everything they hear. In other words some things said about her dad’s health may be false.

“Oh yeah .. & don’t believe everything you hear.”

The update comes a day after TMZ reported the rapper had been taken to a hospital after suffering a seizure and being found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room.

According to reports, the seizure Lil Wayne had was a re-occurrence of one that happened a decade ago.

Lil Wayne was slated to perform in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The New Orleans-born rapper began his professional career aged nine, when he became the youngest artist to be signed by Cash Money Records.
