“I Get Paid to Have Sex”- Funmi Iyanda’s Playful Response to Twitter User (Full Details)

TV talk show host and broadcaster,and  Funmi Iyanda, is one woman who lives a fearless and unapologetic life.

A Twitter follower who asked the single mother of one to become his ‘Sugar Mummy’, got a quick retort from the 46-year-old stunning media guru who told him that she gets paid to have sex.

Funmi who revealed that the payment for sex is made by both young and old folks, further said she likes work more than sex.

Here’s their exchange below;

The twitter user asked; ” Will you be my sugar mummy?”

Funmi replied;

”Aww darling sorry, you have the wrong woman. Young men pay me to have sex, old men too but I like work more than sex… men.”

Well, the follower said he’s joking about it. Trust Funmi, she always has the right response.

She responded; ”Me too love, can’t resist making a hopefully good punchline. I should consider stand up comedy.”

Funmi caused a stir in January when she twitted her disinterest in marriage, saying that she never wanted to be married.

According to her, she hates the feeling of getting trapped, which marriage would do to her.

“I have never wanted to be married. I like it for others who like it for themselves. But as for me, Ms Funmi Iyanda, no thank you,”

The host of the now rested programme on NTA, “New Dawn”, later shared the back story of why she has no interest in getting married.

She also shared some of her childhood experiences, including how she grew up with her father after her mum took off and her father’s love for his liquor and how she was s*xually abused and how her step-mother tried to match-make her when she was younger.

“You see, my father is a brother who drinks which is bad enough but he is also a brother who is single, his wife having disappeared 6 years previously. Who knows if it was his drinking that disappeared her or so l hear them say.”

Funmi was once married to ace footballer, Segun Odegbami and they share a teenage daughter Morenike.
