Actor Chris Attoh Tells Us Something About His Failed Marriage | See Cryptic Message

Following his estrangement from ex wife, Damilola Adegbite, Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, might have revealed one of the reasons why their marriage didn’t work out.

The once inseparable lovers are now shading each other publicly and it’s just incredibly sad.

This comes after the Nigerian actress and mother of one took to her Instagram account to share a cryptic post, saying her prayers had been answered, just 24 hours after her ex-husband has confirmed their divorce (read here).

In the post, the yummy mummy implies that she has been praying for the father of her son to come out to confirm their divorce so she can be free.

”That feeling when I ask my father in heaven to do something and he does it in less than 24 hours.

Then I am convinced that all things work together for good to them that love him and are called to his purpose,” she wrote.

In reaction to the indirect post of the ex-wife, Attoh hit back saying that women should be submissive to their husband whenever they get the opportunity to be married.

During a crucial interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, Attoh clearly stated that a woman who does not submit to the husband and trust his instincts is not going to be successful in marriage.

“A woman who does not submit to the husband and trust his instincts is not going to be successful in marriage.

I think that we have forgotten about the fundamentals of marriage. When you love someone, it’s important to be able to forgive, respect and submit.

As a woman you need to trust the captain of the ship. It’s truly important if you want peace in your home. If you are a Christian, it is your bible that will take you through your wedding days.

Everything happens for a reason. I have a beautiful baby boy, a wealth of experience and a lot of work to do,” Chris explained.

When Bola Ray asked if he cheated on his wife leading to the collapse of their marriage, Attoh said he had no reason to do that.

”I can gladly say that I never cheated on my wife. I didn’t find a reason to have cheated on my wife. I was occupied with so many things, work, production and all, and I have no reason to do that.”

Damilola and Attoh, former Tinsel co-stars who found love on set, got married on February 14th, 2015. Their marriage lasted two years and few months before it hit the rocks.

  • Can’t a marriage end without both parties been bitter and shading each other? I mean if you once loved each other, then no need to have bad blood after the marriage or relationship fails.
