Terrifying Video! See Kids Smart Reaction as Van Driver Tries to Lure Them With Doughnut

A terrified mother has released shocking CCTV footage which appears to show a van driver attempt to lure her three children to his van using doughnuts.

Rechelle Haigh, 26, has now warned people living on her street about a man who pulled up just yards from her garden where her children were playing.

Her CCTV footage shows her children Sadè, eight, Ameya, two, and step-daughter Roxie, six, playing on a trampoline together. But seconds later a man in a large white van stopped his vehicle by the fence near the garden of their home in Partington, Greater Manchester.

He then shouted over to the three girls and asked them if they wanted to ‘come and get some doughnuts’.But they quickly ran off and Sadè sprinted back to pick up Ameya who remained on the trampoline.

Ms Haigh then chased after the man who was ‘acting weirdly’.

This was her first post about the situation:

“WARNING my poor sade was scared to death bless her a man in a white van is roaming around my road inglewood close partington he asked my daughter who was playing in my garden with her 2 year old sister this man asked my 8 year old daughter to come over to his van for a doughnut she used her head grabbed her sister and ran in for me.

I went straight out asked him what was he doing he said he just wanted to give her a doughnut I thank my blessing I have a wise daughter and she ran in please keep your kids safe from people like this I unfortunately didn’t get the Reg as my picture was blurred ???? please share so all kids are safe tonight xx”

She has reported the incident to Greater Manchester Police who are investigating.

A police spokeswoman said:

‘The incident was reported to us at 11.30pm on October 7. It was believed to have happened at 2pm that day.
It appears a van driver offered two girls doughnuts on Inglewood Close, Partington.
We are currently treating it as suspicious circumstances. Enquiries are ongoing.’
