6 Tricks to Prevent Hair Fall Mama Didn’t Teach You

It’s a woman’s nightmare to see her hair fall off just by combing it. Even though it is a natural to lose some hair follicles now and then, women don’t want to see it at all because a woman’s hair is her glory.

Poor nutrition, scalp infections, hereditary factors, hormonal changes, some medical treatments, certain hairstyles and mental stress are factors that could lead to excessive hair loss. When this happens, what do you do?

Here’s what: read these 7 simple tricks to prevent hair loss that you probably weren’t told.

  1. The oil treatment

It’s only someone that knows that could tell you how massaging your hair and scalp is a sure fire way of preventing hair follicles from falling off. There are two ways of using essential oils for this purpose. You could just massage castor oil, coconut oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil, olive oil or almond oil into your hair and scalp, leave it overnight and then wash off in the morning with mild shampoo.

The other way is to heat any of these oils for a few seconds until its warm, not hot. Massage into your hair and scalp, leave it for, say 20 to thirty minutes and then wash it off with shampoo. The massaging movement of your fingers serve to loosen dandruff and dead skin cells so that they can easily come off when you wash your hair. The oil increases blood flow and nourishes the hair follicles so as to encourage healthy growth. Do this twice or three times per week for maximum effect.
