More Details on the Thermocool Staff Who Raped Girl in House He Went to Service Cooker

Over the weekend, there were reports about a married man named Ifeanyi Emmanuel, who works as a technician for Haier Thermocool, that confessed to raping an innocent 19-year-old girl while working at a client’s house.

According to a source close to the case, the unfortunate incident happened in the Lekki Epe axis of Lagos state.

”The girl raped was a 19 year old child and our staff. 3 years ago, we bought a gas cooker at a VI branch of Thermocool office and right from the onset, we have had issues with this cooker.

We complained through their customer care line and they kept sending this Mr. Emmanuel to us as he is the one in charge of our axis – Lekki Epe.

So over time we just called him directly as we had to keep servicing this cooker, Emmanuel has been coming to our home for the past three years to service this cooker and Friday was going to be another day.

He came in during Jumat and the young lady (who he was meeting for the first time) was the only one at home because the security man had gone for Jumat. He serviced the gas and was being escorted out of the house when he attacked her.

After the rape, she was smart enough to run to the gate and lock it so he could not leave, came back in and called us using the land line at home. We alerted few of our neighbours who then guarded the gate.

She is doing well now and has gotten the adequate medical care. All medical screening has been done and we went further to screen the culprit.

The necessary authorities including the Police and an NGO are now in charge. Her family are also involved now.”
