How Safe Are Your Kids on School Excursions?
School excursions are well-planned curriculum-related activities that aim to maximise students’ learning experiences. Many schools in Nigeria engage in school excursions and parents have to cough out fees to pay for them.
But how safe are your kids on school excursions?
In a picture going viral on social media, a school teacher reportedly in Uganda, is seen on a boat ride with little kids. Nice, you might think, but what was scary about the photo was that only the teacher wore a life vest! All the kids in the photo had no form of protection.
So, parents make sure you know where your kids are going for excursions, and ask adequate questions about their safety. You can never be too careful.
