65-Year-Old Father Abducts and Sodomizes Boy for 1 Year: “I’m tempted to have s*x with boys”

Patrick Kalu, a 65-year-old man has been arrested by the Niger state Police Command for allegedly having anal sex with a 15-year-old boy named Victor Inne.

Kalu was said to have had regular sexual intercourse with children aged 12 to 15 before his arrest, Punch reports. It was also gathered that Kalu, who allegedly abandoned his family, had been engaging in the act for over two years.

He denied engaging in sodomy for ritual purposes, saying it was only for pleasure as he enjoyed doing the act with young boys.

The suspect who resides at Railway Quarters in Minna, abducted the teenager and kept him in his house for over a year assaulting him on a daily basis.

He abducted the victim from Marino area of Abuja under the pretense of securing a job for him in Minna and on getting to Minna, he locked him in his house and started sodomizing him.

Kalu admitted having canal knowledge of the teenage boy attributing it to the handwork of the devil.

Kalu said that although he has three children from his late wife, he lives alone at the Railway Quarters adding that he had to threaten the victim to stop him from escaping and each time he leaves the house, he makes sure that he locks the doors and the windows.

”I was doing it for pleasure. I started having the urge to sleep with little boys in my late 50s and now it has ruined my entire life. I have rubbished my life and my reputation, I can’t even start to talk about this or how I started it in the first place.

It is evil. I pray that my children and my community will forgive me. I have been into this heinous act before I was apprehended by a team of police operatives in Minna.

I don’t deserve mercy at all, let the law take its course; I am stupid, honestly.

I don’t know what came over me; each time I see small boys, I would be tempted to have sexual intercourse with them. I don’t know whether it is a curse placed on me. I usually entice my victims with money.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Abigail Unaeze, said that police detectives arrested Kalu based on reliable information adding that he has confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
