YAY! Burn Survivor Turia Pitt and Partner Welcome Adorable Baby Girl (Photos)
Motivational speaker Turia Pitt and her partner Michael Hoskin, have welcomed their bundle of joy, a cute baby girl named Hakavai Hoskin.
The new mother announced the good news by sharing photos of the newborn on her Instagram page, with the caption;
”Welcome to the world Hakavai Hoskin ????.”

Turia and Michael Hoskin met while in school. Interestingly, Michael knew from early on in their courtship that Turia was the one for him and Turia felt pretty much the same way.
Tragedy struck in 2011 when Turia got trapped by a bushfire in a 100 km marathon in Kimberley. She suffered from endless burns and 65 percent of her body was damaged.

She lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and had to spend almost five months in the hospital undergoing 200 surgeries.

Speaking during an interview on why he remained with Turia after the accident, Michael said he fell in love with her soul and not her body.
