Tia Mowry is expecting her second child, a baby girl with her husband, Cory Hardrict, 38. The beautiful mum of one tells how her this pregnancy  is a different experience from her first.

For one, the ‘Sister sister’ actress is older but age hasn’t detoured Tia Mowry from her normal everyday routines. In a report by US Magazine, she said,

”This time around, I’m older, which I was a little worried about, but I have more energy. With my first pregnancy, I was kind of afraid to exercise.

It was my first. This time around, I’m exercising. It just seems to be going rather well,” the 39-year-old mum-to-be explains.

And, minus morning sickness throughout her first pregnancy with her son Cree, who is now 6-years old, the actress told the media that she has been able to enjoy the second time around a bit more.

The Game alum also said that her firstborn is “so happy” that he’s getting a little sister but is already asking his parents for a brother.

”My first pregnancy was rough. Getting pregnant was hard, going through the pregnancy was hard, but this time around I’m enjoying it, so I’m like, ‘Hmm, maybe I can do this again.’

But really who gave me that idea was my son, and he’s like, ‘Mommy, now that we have a sister, next I want a brother,’ ” she shared.

“I’m always open, I think that’s how I’ve been living my life lately, taking things a day at a time, not being too structured.”

“I had nausea with my son throughout my whole entire pregnancy and it was terrible. This time around, I only had it in the first trimester and I didn’t think it was going to go away.

When it went away, I was like ‘Hallelujah’. This is what it feels like?’”

Tia also shared her secrets on how she juggles family, career, pregnancy, and still staying sane.

“I really take everything not only a day at a time but a moment at a time. I always like to be present no matter what I’m doing.

I’ve learned to forgive myself because it can get a little overwhelming at times. Sometimes when you have this to-do list in front of you and you become so obsessed with checking everything off, it no longer becomes fun.

We have a whole lifetime to check off those things, so forgive yourself.”

The expectant parents will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on April 20 and she said that prioritizing their family over their careers has been key to making their marriage work.

“We make time and it’s all about prioritizing,” she said. “Family is really, really important to both of us. We know that that is our foundation.”

“I think the main thing is that we value it, we cherish it, and we work at it. It’s not by coincidence, so let’s just say that, and we communicate.”

On naming their baby girl, Mowry told Page Six at Thursday’s Life Hack Academy Live from Ford EcoSport,

“My husband named [our 6-year-old son] Cree, so he will be naming our baby girl. He did say that while he was in the air flying, he saw some letters in the sky that he had seen with the clouds, and those letters were going to find a name.”

“He felt it was just a very kind of spiritual moment for him, he says that he feels closer to God when he’s in an airplane so I was like, ‘OK, Cory.’ So we have those letters in mind, so we’ll see what happens.”

Mowry  who is due to welcome her daughter in May have also decided to forgo the traditional baby shower brunch this time around.

“We want to do something different, so instead of it being a brunch, we want it to be kind of an evening thing,” she explained.

“We always feel like we have to go against the grain.”
