Actress Victoria Inyama Rants About Her Marital Crisis | Begs Husband For Divorce
UK-based actress and mum of three, Victoria Inyama has taken to social media to express her disgust about her husband and alleged violence towards her. Her now estranged husband is Ben Okri, a celebrated Nigerian writer and the author of ‘The Famished Road’.
Victoria who dominated the Nollywood scene in the 90s, took to her Facebook page to insinuate that her estranged hubby is a psychotic beast who though has a live-in-lover has refused to grant her divorce.
Here’s what she wrote;
”What’s on my mind hmmmmmmmm. Happy to be alive. Healthy……. getting better…brighter….standing up for myself……regardless of d demon in human form that I have to deal with…………… legion lawyer……….. If not for God……..psychotic beast with his Never ending drama……. he wouldn’t even grant her a divorce………… and d poor bitch living with him……..May God give her sense……….. she’s so dumb
????……………….miserable pair…..”

When one of her friends Mandy B Okosi dropped a comment, Victoria gave more details about her situation. In her comment, Victoria wrote
”The bondage is sickening and all his legal antics. They saw the law is fair but not when he manipulates it like he does.
He has a live in lover and still wouldn’t divorce me! He assaulted me yesterday and d first time, I called the police on him”.
This is however not the first time the actress has publicly accused her estranged husband of being abusive.
According to the actress before the latest accusation, she has been beaten, physically abused allegedly by her husband who she accused of cheating on her.
Posting on her wall a very close friend wrote in 2016, that the actress has been through a lot even with the police stepping in at some stage to rescue her.
According to her friend, Victoria’s devotion to the scriptures and leaning for advice from the men of God seems to be her greatest undoing.
She further accused the Pastor of keeping her in the marriage bond based on scriptural injunctions, which prohibits remarriage if he decides to live apart from her husband.
