According to Tonto Dikeh, you don’t ask for strength when you know the Lord is your portion; He’s your strength, and you testify accordingly.

She wrote;

”When this truth dawns on you, the struggles would be over; it’ll change your mentality and your testimonies would be different.

The Psalmist knew the Lord to be his portion and so declared, “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot” (Psalms 16:5). Then in Psalm 27:1, the psalmist testified, “… the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

He didn’t say, “Strengthen me, oh Lord”; rather, he declared, “The Lord is the strength of my life!” You don’t ask for strength when you know the Lord is your portion; He’s your strength, and you testify accordingly.

Being born again, you’ve been made a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). You’ve been brought into a large place (Psalm 18:19); a place of wealth, health and prosperity.

Get to know and enjoy all that belongs to you in Christ by studying and meditating on the Word. Walking in the light of this and other truths in the Word will launch you.”
