“Just show us your relatives that you care” Cousin of Nigerian Professional Footballer, Mikel Obi, Calls Him Out On Instagram
Captain of the Nigerian National team and former Chelsea star player, Mikel Obi is the latest victim of family attack on Instagram as a man who claims to be his cousin took to the social network to accuse him of neglecting his uncle, the accuser’s father, suffering from a partial stroke.
According to the cousin, the 31-year-old football star and father of two adorable twin girls, has refused to help his family members who are in abject poverty while he shows so much love and care on outsiders, including helping them.
Mikel’s cousin identified as Obikezie Chukwuemeka, further alleged that his father, Christopher Obiekezie who is the only surviving brother to the footballer’s father has been ill and all efforts to reach the former Chelsea man for financial assistnace has proved abortive.
He went further to state that they have tried to reach out to Mikel through his father who claimed he has spoken to the footballer on the issue.
The angry cousin took to his Instagram page to make things public stating that he is not asking the footballer to give them his money rather all he asks is a caring attitude from Mikel.
