Actress Announces Split From Footballer Hubby, Rasaq Omotoyosi Just 1 Week After 10th Wedding Anniversary For the Sake of Her Children

Bose Alao, a popular Yoruba actress and movie producer, has taken to social media to shockingly announce that her ten-year marriage to football star, Rasaq Omotoyosi is over.

Just days ago, the mother of four beautiful girls heartily celebrated her tenth year wedding anniversary, saying she and her hubby are two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

However, she shocked many as she took to her WhatsApp status yesterday to break the news of ending her marriage.

The pretty actress claimed that her marriage ended due to domestic violence. Alao said she has only been pretending all through these years as her Nigerian-born Beninese hubby is a wife beater.

However, the actress who got recently beaten by her husband promised to release pictures of the assault soon. She added that her phone got broken due to the latest violence.

According to her post, Alao disclosed that her marriage to Omotoyosi ended on Saturday, June 2. Before now, there had been reports of domestic violence and infidelity which the actress had always been quick to debunk.

October last year, a report by Skye9movies, with photo details, revealed how the beautiful actress was battered by her footballer hubby who represents Benin Republic.Though what led to the battering wasn’t disclosed, however the mother was left with a black eye after the assault.

In March, Bose Alao had accuse fellow actress, Bidemi Kosoko, of sleeping with her husband. Bose took to her Instagram page to share screenshots of the allegation a whistle blower simply known as adorable_vivian_123 sent to her in her DM.

The whistle blower claimed that Bose’s husband rented an apartment for Bidemi.

Bose shared the DM, tagged her husband in the accusation and wants Nigerians to help advise her on what she should do.

Sources also disclosed that Bose was considering leaving her husband after this revelation. Meanwhile, Bidemi, the daughter of star actor, Jide Kosoko did not respond to the allegation thrown at her.

In an Interview with Punch sometimes in June, the Nollywood star said she did her children a great favour by having the footballer as their dad, adding that in everything she does, she always think of her kids first.

”My hubby was a fan and I met him through a colleague. It is not true that he paid millions for my phone number. I am happy I met my hubby and that I am married to him.

I did my children a great favour by having him as their dad. Despite the fact that he is a footballer, he lives a very decent life. He has his flaws and I have mine but we are both working on ourselves.

I usually listen to advice from family, friends and fans. And in everything I do, I always think of my kids first.”
