A Make-Up Artist Warns Nigerians On The Dangers Of Using Their Toilets Unchecked And This Is Why

This is a timely advice given by someone who experienced this first hand.

A Nigerian makeup artist has warned Nigerians on the dangers of using a toilet without carefully checking to verify that no strange thing is lurking around or inside the toilet. This became imperative for her to do after she recently found and killed a snake in her toilet.

According to her, this was happening to her a second time. She added that she had poured snake poison into the toilet after the previous experience, yet, it didn’t stop the snake from ‘visiting’ again.

Sharing a photo of the dead snake on Instagram, she wrote:

“I found this snake in my toilet. Y’al need to be very conscious about your toilet, the issue made me very disturbed because I found it twice even after the snake poison I poured inside my toilet ‘Finally it was found in my next door neighbor toilet, am glad it was killed in my presence. Please always check your toilet before using it.”

In February, Nigerian comedian, Segun Dangote also shared a similar story of how his wife had escaped being bitten by a snake in their home.

He said his wife had woken up in the middle of the night to use the toilet but couldn’t because she found a snake lurking in the toilet’s water closet, ready to attack.

He said further that the toilet was then flushed after which they couldn’t find the snake again, until two days later when it was found hiding under their toilet seat.

It is important to be vigilant around the house, especially in this rainy season.
