In Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, a show-stopping ceremony seem to be lurking around the corner, we can reveal to you; as the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi appears to have found love again- a year after his separation from his wife, Zaynab Wuraola Otiti Obanor.
According to a viral and an exclusive report by TheCable, Oba Adeyeye is set to pick Tope Adesegun as a new bride, leaving the people of Ile-Ife in excitement as they plan for the awaited upcoming royal wedding.

Oba Adeyeye, 43, is known to have been involved with a number of women. Notable among them is Adebukola Bombata whom he married in 2008, Zaynab Wuraola Otiti Obanor with whom he was between 2016 & 2017, and Omolara Olatubosun with whom he has his 24-year-old only child, Princess Adeola Aanuoluwapo Ogunwusi.
The Oba’s union with Zaynab lasted for 17 months and accordingly, the customary bride price paid by the Ooni had been fully returned to him by the elders of her family in Benin City, Nigeria.

Sources reveal that the union which was contracted in March 2016 in elaborate ceremonies held in Benin and Ife hit the rocks over alleged infidelity – this has since been disproved by Zaynab.
For those who didn’t know anything about the soon-to-be Olori Temitope Adesegun, she is a highly influential woman in business and management. She bagged diplomas in Linguistics and Data Processing from the University of Lagos in 1998 and 2000 respectively and a Bachelors’ in Business Administration from the same university, and she has enjoyed a private sector career as an administrative executive and public relations officer, in several organizations.
In 2009, she became the Personal Assistant to the Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran–Ogunsanya; a position she held till the end of her political tenure in 2011.

Adesegun is a certified alumnus of the following universities: University of Oxford, United Kingdom, INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France; University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, United Kingdom and Harvard Kennedy School of Government, United States.
Currently, she leads the working team of the Hopes Alive Initiative under the Auspices and Management of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II through the House of Oduduwa Foundation.
