An African dad, @DJ Evvafross’ video has  gone viral for doing something awesome for his daughters.

In a video shared by an admirer, the African dad who lives in Brooklyn, New York; could be seen weaving the hair on his daughter’s head.

The enviable dad, who was seen dressed casually with a headset on, was bent over; weaving the hair on one of his two daughters’ head.

The little girl who covered her face with a bag, was sitting close to her younger sister whose hair their dad had already plaited. This rather heartwarming moment between the dad and his daughters got the attention of many on social media.

A certain Instagram user took to his page to post the video. The Instagram user who was very impressed with the man’s action embedded the motion picture with an inscription to this note: Real fathers exist. Salute!

The IG user, who is still single, couldn’t help but write a long caption that told of how the video meted a motivation to many other fathers or prospective dads.

“Usually I would say “#morningmotivation ” but this right here is FOREVER MOTIVATION! This really touched my HEART seeing this because I know one day I WILL become a father and would do ANYTHING for my children.

Yesterday while I was on the 4 train coming from brooklyn to the bronx after training clients I seen this honorable father fixing his daughters hair and being a great example of what a REAL MAN should do for his kids before he left the train I said “God bless you my brother ” I just want to Say ” SALUTE TO ALL THE REAL FATHERS OUT THERE ” you are all motivation for me when its my time to become one and you are all appreciated KINGS .

A really great thanks for being that shining example of what a father would do for his children in spite of what life throws at you.

As a young black man who grew up without a father this touched me so much and I am thankful that I had an opportunity to show a video that allows us to continue the ongoing conversation about the role that black fathers play in the lives of their children.

This is especially important to me because there has always been a negative portrayal of black fathers not being active in the lives of their children. We need to show more of these examples and show that we can be great role models for our children.

I hope one day to be a father and@dj_evvafross_ s you have inspired me and touched my heart. I am grateful… let’s keep this going. I hope there will be more videos of fathers building those everlasting bonds with their children especially at a young age.

1stofficer.ortiz???????? Many of us men wouldn’t even learn how to braid our own daughters hair so respect to him ..and anyone posting negative shit find something to do with your miserable life and suck a dick

However, most people vented out their disapproval saying this was not a yardstick for being a true father.

auntiedebb112I just want to know WHY he waited until it was time to go to school and on the train doing hair

mayination91Stop praising men for doing things they are supposed to do. This guy isn’t a super hero, he’s just a patent.
pollypocketisrich@keiyettatyson so u say keep it positive but assume that the mother left her daughters her messy for the father. 1st why do we celebrate what black men do as father’s when that’s their JOB as father’s to do what’s best for their kids AND MEN SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN THEIR DAUGHTERS LIVES WITHOUT BEING REWARDED.
tracee.morgan.353@rayscoty damn you hating on this young man real hard” don’t your jealous ass have anything else better to do with your life.. don’t you have children of your own? If you do I feel sorry for those poor kids” with a jealous Hating Ass Father Like You. You need to go sit your punk ass down somewhere.. hater.
jackie.crooks.7We can all make assumptions about what we presume what is going on right here (as to why he chose the train as an environement to do his daughter’s hair). Why don’t we pause with the negativity and praise a father for having courage to do just what he did. Or perhaps he picked her up from her mom’s house (who was probably sick the night before), or perhaps they live with grandma and she could not do it, there could be s
