Nigeria, as a country, gained her Independence on October 1, 1960; and ever since, every October 1 has been earmarked for celebration.

Now, while many Nigerians chose to see the decadence in the nation, some celebrities chose to rise above it and celebrate the anniversary in unique ways, re-pledging their commitment to the growth of the nation while stressing on their beliefs that Nigeria shall be great again.
