One Dead, Four Hospitalized After Housemaid, Taibat Poisoned a Family’s Pot Of Soup | Video
In a viral video on social media, a young housemaid identified as Taibat allegedly poisoned a family’s pot of soup which has left one dead and four others fighting for their lives.
Taibat added insecticide into freshly made vegetable soup prepared for the family which resulted in the death of her employer, while her four grandchildren are still battling for their lives at the hospital.

Upon interrogation, Taibat explained that she had eaten crayfish without permission and that the punishment meted to her by her employer was to deprive her from the pleasure of eating the soup that she had prepared.
She further explained that soon after the meal was consumed by the five family members, they started to purge and vomit. When asked how she felt after seeing the effect of the poison on the family, Taibat admitted that she was happy but claimed that she didn’t know that the insecticide would kill anyone. She insisted that she only thought that the insecticide would make the soup bitter and they would end up purging.
