Model And Mom Of P. Diddy’s Children, Kim Porter Dies At 47
American rapper and songwriter, Sean John Combs, known as P.Diddy, 49, has lost his ex-partner of 13-years and mom-of-3 out of his 5 children, Kim Porter at the age of 47.
It was reported that the model whom the rapper dated for 13-years was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Thursday.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said Kim went to bed early on Wednesday night, because she wasn’t feeling well and when family members went to wake her on Thursday, she was non-responsive. Paramedics pronounced Kim dead at her home.
As for the cause, it was told that she was battling an illness — either the flu or pneumonia — over the last few days and was being treated with Saline and vitamins. Authorities are also looking at a recent trip Kim took to Africa, to determine if she contracted a disease. However, it was said that no illegal drugs were found though the coroner would perform an autopsy and perform toxicology tests.

Diddy and Kim’s relationship spanned more than a decade with several breakups and makeups. They started dating in 1994 and broke up, for the last time, in 2007.
The duo have 3 children between them — a son, Christian who was born 1998 and twin girls, Jessie James and D’Lila who were born in 2006. P.Diddy has 2 other children from other relationships: son, Justin Dior Combs and daughter, Chance while late Kim likewise has a son, Quincy Brown, from her previous relationship with R&B producer, Al B. Sure!
The whole family was last together, in public, supporting Quincy at last month’s premiere for his movie, “The Holiday Calendar.”
Kim worked as both a model and an actress, and she made appearances on P. Diddy’s show, “I Want to Work for Diddy.”
P. Diddy’s rep, Cindi Berger confirmed the news but asked for privacy for the family: “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”
Kim Porter’s bestie, Kimora Lee Simmons was seen sobbing outside the Los Angeles home of her late friend and bridesmaid on Thursday afternoon as she watched a coroner haul her body. Simmons was beside herself as she stood in the garage alongside other loved ones to Kim Porter.

Simmons and Porter shared a close bond, which can be seen below in a throwback tweet Simmons posted from her first wedding to Russell Simmons in 1998.

A source close to Kim Porter and P. Diddy confirmed to People on Thursday that: “Diddy is devastated and shocked. He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work… they were still a family.”
