Adetutu OJ Opens Up On Teenage Pregnancy, Rejections, & How Baby-Daddy Reappeared After She Became Famous

Nigerian born model with prominent tribal marks, Adetutu OJ Alabi has opened up about her not so rosy past in an interview with Hero Daniels of Linda Ikeji TV.

The goal-setter model who became an international sensation after she caught Rihanna‘s attention and got a follow back from the singer on Instagram, recounted how she became pregnant as a teenager and her then boyfriend who impregnated her absconded after giving her the go-ahead to keep the pregnancy.

According to her, the young man had asked her to keep the baby but two days later when she went visiting him again, she found out that he had relocated and no one knew his where-about.

As a pregnant teenager, she had nowhere to go. Her father threw her out, and relatives and family friends refused to help her for fear of her strict father so she became homeless. She wandered all over town sleeping in empty shops and sometimes getting drenched in the rain.

However, luck smiled on her when, shortly before she had her baby, she went to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) where she saw a banner advertising a foundation for women in her condition. She called the number and it turned out to be a foundation run by Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.

It was from there that Adetutu got helped to her register for WAEC and she began to attend coaching classes in preparation for the exams which she eventually sat for. It was also there she had her baby and she was helped to put her in foster care for 4-years till she was able to find her feet.

After 4 years, Adetutu who had been established to an extent, went back for her child and they both live together now.
