Eye Witness Gives Blow By Blow Account Of Maje Ayida N100M Libel Suit Hearing Against Ex-Wife, Toke Makinwa
An eye-witness simply identified with his Twitter handle Harolds@Haroldswrite has taken to same to give a blow by blow account of what transpired during the hearing of the N100m libel suit of Maje Ayida against his radio personality ex-wife, Toke Makinwa on Tuesday.
Recall that Ayida sued Toke over her claims in her book, ‘On Becoming’ that he infected her with sexually transmitted infections while they were married? (Read Here)
Unbelievably, during the hearing, Toke’s lawyer was able to get Ayida to admit to having unprotected sex with other women while he was married to his client, though he insisted there was no medical reports to substantiate Toke’s claims.
Maje further insisted that Toke’s book brought public ridicule to him, hurting his brand. He also argued that his professional integrity as one of the leading health and wellness practitioners in Nigeria,plus his credibility built over the years through dedicated hard work was nearly damaged because of Toke’s ‘On Becoming.’ (Read Here)
One of Maje’s demands was for Toke to “withdraw all copies of her book from circulation and take immediate steps to call in all copies of the book already distributed.”
