Waje, Daddy Freeze Join Their Voices Against Those Sexualizing The 5-Year Old Girl-Child
More Nigerian celebrities are lending their voices to the absurdity of the viral video in which two men- one of which has been found out to be Onyema Chiwete, argued that a 5-year old dressed inappropriately can be sexualized. (Read Here)
Joining the train, Nigerian singer and mom-of-1, Aituaje ‘Waje’ Iruobe, took to social media and wrote:
“Wow!!! Wow! My good people of Nigeria, these men are making excuses for RAPE? Please explain to me how two grown men would come on air and show stupidity!!! “ something you have to understand about human beings and what they see” really? “How is a child not a sexual being?” We are finished o! I want to believe or rather I believe we have MEN that are not sexually mental cause this is a pure display of madness! So it’s not enough for women now cause from what I’m watching, our children are now not safe.Â

If Indecent dressing the reason why our daughters and sons are abused then we would have solved the problem don’t you think?
If I had the answers I’ll give it but here is what I know * We should start reorienting and improving the social mindset of people. *there should be more testimonies of the punishment by law of perpetrators so people trust the system to protect them and not just say “don’t wear shorts” *Men should speak up more against it.
