Nigerian 2018 Queen, Rachael Amune Donates Newly Constructed Borehole To A Girls’ School| Video & Photos

The Nigerian Queen 2018 Winner, Rachael Amune has donated a clean-free borehole to the Abonnema Girls Secondary School, Akuku Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State.

The beauty queen who made a promise to touch lives when she got crowned commenced the project on January 9, 2019; and handed it over to the school on January 15, 2019.

According to her, the project is aimed at curbing the challenges of accessing clean and portable water in Nigeria especially in Niger-Delta communities due to frequent water pollution.

Shortly after the she got the crown, Amune had posited that she would use her platform to reach out to the society.

She promised:

I am so so excited and I never saw this coming, I was not expecting this and I promise to use my platform to reach out to the society”

With this project, the Nigerian Queen Organization which has been known for upholding her promise on corporate social responsibility, proved to the society once again her determination to impact the society positively.

It may be recalled that since the Edo-born beauty queen won the prestigious Nigerian Queen in June, 2018; she has executed lots of projects such as sponsoring the medical bills of Mr Abraham Okodugha, visitation to several homes of the less privileged, donation of clothes and food to homeless people, awarding scholarships to students, etc. others.

“As we are all aware, water is the most important natural resource of life and therefore our existence as humans largely depend on the quality of water we consume. It is in this regard that today, I am handing over the newly constructed Borehole in Abonnema Community as part of our “Beauty for Purpose” 2018 project. This project I believe will provide clean, portable and quality water to every household in this community.”
