Marriage can be beautiful if the two people involved would look out for the best interest of the other person. If they would allow their hearts to beat as one and if they would accord each other mutual respect.
Now, when a man genuinely loves his wife and loves her in the right way, it has been observed over the years that such a woman would effortlessly worship the ground the man walks on.
In this era of discarding marriages like worn out clothes, it gladdens the heart to find marriages where the two people involved would find joy honouring each other beyond a third party’s comprehension.
A video went viral some hours ago in which a woman made her husband tear up for a beautiful reason. She recounted how supportive her husband has been to her and how he supports her in all she wants, saying, “what makes me happy makes him happy.”
The occasion was her 50th birthday party and she thought it wise to openly eulogize her husband for what he represents in her life.
Fully on her knees, she says:
“You deserve it, You are one in a million. Majority doesn’t (sic) know my husband and they wonder, ‘how does she do it?’ I did my 40th, if not for you, I cannot do it. I am here again today celebrating 50. How much is my money in all these celebration?”
At this point, her husband attempted to lift her up from her kneeling position probably because the scene was too emotional for him but she wouldn’t let him.
She continues:
“No! Leave me! If a husband does well, let us honour him.”
Turning to her husband, she says to him:
“My husband, you are a darling! I love you and I am proud of you. Death will not come between us, sickness will not separate us, evil people will not find way into our union. You have always made me proud. you are not a millionaire but you have always had my back.”
The guests at the party cheered her on while some men moved towards her husband to playfully jab at him.
The woman continues:
“There is nothing I want that this man will not support me in. He will go out of his way. Whatever makes me happy makes him happy. Lord, I thank You. I am grateful to You. Even my family, he takes them like his own blood, what more can I ask for? After all, I am not more than this! With all my weaknesses, he loves me still. Upon all these money he has spent, even a surprise holiday, Lord I am grateful. It is not because I know how to do it, or because I am complete in itself. I know you are not a millionaire, but in this little that God has given to you, you put a smile on my face, God will not forget you my husband, another will occupy your space, …”
