Newly Elected Akin Alabi Dedicates Victory To Dad For This Touching Cause
That moment when a son triumphed where father did not!
Coasting home in victory, Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, Otunba Akin Alabi, 41, now elected member of the Federal House Of Representatives representing Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency of Oyo State, says he is dedicating his victory to his father, Chief Adediran Alabi, who contested for the same office but lost in 1992.
Taking to his Twitter page, the CEO of the popular betting company, NairaBet, appreciated members of his constituency for believing in him saying:
“Thank you Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency for believing in me. Thank you to my great party, APC for giving me the platform. Thank you to everyone that wished me well and those that didn’t. Abuja Loading.
#AkinMeansBusiness”

Talking about why he would be dedicating his victory to his father, the dad-of-2 tweeted:
“In 1992, my dad lost his election. He contested for a seat in the House of Representatives.
In 2015, I contested and lost too.
In 2019, I won.my dad is alive to witness this. He’s happy and I dedicate this to him.
I dedicate my victory at the polls to my dad, Chief Adediran Alabi.”

Akin Alabi is married to Oluwadamilare and they are blessed with two children, Oluwalayomi and Ireoluwa Alabi.
