See What Veteran Actress Joke Silva Has To Say About APC’s Victory In The Presidential Polls

The presidential elections have come and gone and a winner has been declared by the electioneering body INEC. Following the declaration, there has expectedly been reactions of different kinds. Veteran and beloved actress, Joke Silva is however happy about the outcome and has praised the winner, President Muhammadu Buhari and his party members as a  ‘‘league of extraordinary men”.

Many celebrities for obvious reasons distanced themselves from voicing out their political preferences as the elections drew close but now that it is over and done with, there is no such fear as instigating or influencing the public with their popularity.

While the actress and mum-of-two may be pleased with the outcome of the elections, a number of her colleagues have voiced their disappointment over the results but that is to be expected.

Joke Silva on her Instagram page described the 4-year tenure of president Buhari and his vice, Professor Osinbajo as too short a time to judge their performance by, praising them as extraordinary men.

She also pointed the president and his vice in the direction of urgent need to tackle electricity issues that have bedeviled the country for so long, while mentioning the need to urgently look to improving the Apapa ports.
