”Don’t take your marital problems to pastors” –Gospel Singer, Empress Gifty Osei

Ace gospel musician Empress Gifty Osei, who rocked Ghana’s gospel scene with her ‘Aseda’ album has urged couples not to run to pastors or external persons whenever they have marital crisis. She said this on Adom FM’s work and happiness show.

According to the mother-of-two, marital issues are best solved between the husband and wife, rather than involving any third party, friends or family members, which is tantamount to digging one’s own grave.

The award winning star then advised that it is better for married people to table their problems before God.

”The more you run to people, the more you make mistakes. Running to pastors, spiritual mothers and fathers will only deepen your woes. The more you run to people the more you make mistakes. Talk to your spouse first. If you want to part ways, It shouldn’t be a fight and it shouldn’t be a yoke upon your life.

If you have a problem, don’t go to your pastor, spiritual mother, and fathers. The people you are talking to even want what you have. You have to run to God.”

According to reports, the singer was previously married to Prophet Prince Elisha Osei but their 10-year union hits the rocks in 2017.

However, Gifty is currently married to politician Hopeson Adorye, with the couple tying the knot last December.

The hit maker once revealed that some friends and colleagues in the gospel music industry contributed to the collapse of her first marriage. She then urged couples to have deeper communicate with each other, adding that that is the best way to resolve issues in a marriage.
