Why You Must Avoid Marrying A Jobless Man, Pastor E.A. Adeboye Warns Single Women

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has shared some valuable marital tips as he also advised single women on the kind of man they should never get married to.

Pastor Adeboye while speaking at the May Special Prayer and Thanksgiving service by the RCCG Throne of Grace, National Headquarters Ebute Metta, Lagos, warned single women to avoid marrying jobless men.

Jobless men, according to the 77-year-old man of God who has been married to his wife for over 50 years, have the tendencies to use, dump and abandon such women.

The pastor further explained that the woman would become the work if she ties the knot with a man who is jobless. He also expressed that it is not a sin for a single woman to ask a man proposing marriage about his employment status. He said: “if not, you will be the work.”

The cleric, who spoke through the Assistant General Overseer, (RCCG) Personnel and Administration Pastor Johnson Odesola, said the man is key and the major director in the house, and the woman has only come to help.

Stating that women are conceived as help meets, Adeboye argued only somebody who has a job can be helped. He stated:

“Whatever the woman does is help. The man is the key and major director in the house.”

Pastor Adeboye also noted that the home care does not solely rest on the woman. He also blamed lack of proper home training for most of the problems in the society. He said:

”I still remember when I was young. My father will tell me that this name is the name of my father. Don’t spoil the name. So I was scared to do wrong.
