‘Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo never officiated at our wedding’ -Timi Dakolo Debunks Rumours, Shares Proof
Popular R&B singer, Timi Dakolo has finally debunked claims that the senior pastor and founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo officiated his wedding to wife, Busola, and also being a choir director at COZA.
Some days ago, Busola made headlines when she revealed in an explosive interview that she was raped twice by the Fatoyinbo when she was fresh out of secondary school (read Here).
In the tell-it-all interview with Ynaija, the mom-of-three added that after raping her, the married dad told her she should be happy it was a man of God who deflowered her.
Busola’s revelation generated massive reactions from social media users, celebrities and other concerned Nigerians. While she received massive support from some, others doubted her story.
Wale Aladejana, the CEO of Sapphire Group and a loyal member of COZA defended his pastor saying Timi and Busola have a lot of skeletons and they are busy throwing stones.
He went further to say Busola was a choir member and Timi was a choir leader in COZA when she got pregnant with her first baby but Timi denied that they weren’t having an affair and then she got pregnant the second time and that was when the church forced them to get married (read his full comment Here).
Reacting to this claim, Mr Dakolo shared a video from his wedding ceremony, stating that the Pastor who officiated his wedding was Pastor Seyi of Global Impact church. He also rubbished claims of receiving monetary and car gifts from Pastor Fatoyinbo after their wedding.
This came after he supported a former COZA staff who accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of allegedly raping her, and offering monetary settlement for her to remain silent.

1• First the ridiculous rumor that Biodun wedded us. Please watch the video yourself , does the Pastor look like Biodun Fatoyinbo? His name is Pastor Seyi of Global Impact church officiating the wedding and that is a statement from Yemi Davids ,Pastor of Global impact church on this issue …but nameless and faceless cyberbullies cant read , can they ?
2• I have never met or been in the same space with Biodun Fatoyinbo nor do I ever want to be and have never been a member of COZA
3• I guess that also answers the desperate attempt to say I was a music director in COZA. Funny as I have never been a music director in ANY church ! A church cant have an anonymous music director can they ? Foolishness !
4• Apparently I had a child, divorced and remarried Busola – Spirit wife and child tings #AfricaMagic , and Busola was given monetary gift, car and flown to Chicago . No be only Chicago, na Soweto. Please do better ,tell more believable lies .
Again I say, desperate people will do desperate things …but as I said before …WE. ARE .READY. We came out to speak on this painful matter.
To bear the shame that goes with this, to be ridiculed, to be doubted …just so that others might be saved and justice served . We are not backing down and no amount of manufactured lies can stop the truth that has started to unveil.”
