Twitter User, Nedu Money Raises Concern Over Kanu Nwankwo Marrying His Wife As “A Child”

A Nigerian lady probably incensed from the trending debates on sexual violence and child abuse has taken to social media to voice her concerns over the marriage between former footballer, Kanu Nwankwo, and his wife, Amara.

The football star married his wife and mother of his kids Amara in 2004 when she was about 18-years-old. The concerned Nigerian woman, Nedu Money took to her Twitter handle @Chigirl_x to call out the former footballer, saying he was way older than Amara at the time and therefore argued that he married a child.

According to Nedu, without looking up the age of the mum-of-three, she saw the wedding photos and immediately lamented, “that’s a child!”.

Her comments generated arguments which said the mum-of-three was of legal age at the time the footballer married her.
