In Another Case Of Victim Blaming, Nigerian Man Gives Reasons For High Occurrence Of Rape In The North
In another case of victim blaming, a Northern Nigerian man has taken to his social media page to reveal what he believes is the reason for high occurrence of rape in Northern Nigeria.
The man identified as @AY_Zarewa on twitter blamed the menace of rape in that part of the country on women. According to AY, Northern women especially the teenagers (whom he said are being attracted to perverts they meet on daily basis), are being sexually abuse as a result of their indecent dressing.
He added that most victims were young girls who had adopted western lifestyle which led to increased rape in the North as ‘bad eggs’ were tempted.
