Twitter-famous Nigerian physician, Dr. Nonso, popularly known as ‘Aproko Doctor’ on the app has shared a number of seeming easy steps to take in order to guard against liver damage or cancer. The health practitioner who often shares insights on topical health issues vi his Twitter handle @Aprokodoctor highlighted in a new Twitter thread the do’s and don’ts of a healthy liver.
According to the award-winning physician, losing weight in case of obesity and getting vaccinated against the Hepatitis B Virus are some of the steps to take to promote a healthy liver. Eating old or bad groundnuts and abuse of prescription medicines are some of the triggers for liver cancer or damage according to him.
