Health Practitioner, Dr. Chinonso Egemba Shares Top 8 Health Tips For Anyone Who Is Above 30

According to Dr. Egemba, anyone who is 30 and above should make sure to have enough sleep every night. He emphasized that not sleeping for at least 6-8hours daily can increase the risk of not reasoning properly, adding that  sleep helps to flush the harmful chemicals from the brain.

The health practitioner advised that people should not depend on sleeping tablets before sleeping and also, one should only use their beds for sleeping and making out with their loved ones.

He advised that people should sleep two hours after the use of their phones.

“If you’re 30+, I’ll advise you to sleep properly every night if you can. Not sleeping at least 6 to 8 hours can increase the risk of you not able to reason properly, remember things when you’re older. Sleep helps flush your brain of some harmful chemicals that can lead to it.

Try not to use sleeping pills.

Use your bed for two things only: Sleeping and having sex.

Leave your phones/computers at least 2 hours before your bedtime.

Avoid blue light in your room.

Try to wake up at the same time every day, this helps set your internal clock properly.

Have a regular schedule in the daytime.

Try to limit or even avoid take caffeine or energy drinks. Smoking also interferes with sleep.
