Pregnant Woman Runs Marathon Shortly Before Due Date
BEIJING (KGO) — A pregnant woman has become a local celebrity after running a marathon four weeks before her baby is due.
Xu Yunyun says she took part in the competition at the Beijing Olympic Park, believing that the training and the run will make her delivery easier.
The 28-year-old says she kept an easy pace and that her doctor approved.
Yunyun says she took her inspiration from British runner Paula Radcliffe, who ran 14 miles a day while pregnant.
