Arrested: Teachers Caught Having Sex With Students On the Beach

Two Californian teachers have been arrested after allegedly being caught have sex with their students while away on an unsanctioned field trip, police said.

South Hills High School teacher Melody Lippert, 38, met up with a group of male students at a beach in San Clemente in December of last year.

Cops say she gave the group alcohol and then engaged in a sexual act with one of the students, according to deputies.

Afterwards, she allegedly made plans to meet up with the students a second time at the same spot, bringing along another teacher 30-year-old Michelle Ghirelli.

The two met up with several of the same group, spending a night on the beach during which they had sex with two students, police said.

Lippert, 38, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and is being held in lieu of £12,000 bail.

Ghirelli, 30, faces possible charges of oral copulation and unlawful sex with a minor and has a £33,000 bail.
