BABY RECIPE: Apple & Mango Puree

Purees are quite tasty and nutritious first foods for babies. Here’s a recipe your baby will love:

Ingredients

5 apples (peeled)
1 large mango (peeled)
1dl water

Preparation

Cut apples and mango into very thin slices. Wash them well with water. Steam or cook 1dl of water on a very high heat. Once the water starts boiling, put the stove on the lowest heat, add the fruits to the water and close the cooking pot with a tight lid. Allow to simmer for a minute and turn off the heat.

Stir and allow the heat to soften the fruits. Once soft, blend them into a soft paste and serve warm or cold.
