See What Suspected Drug Addict Did to Dad in Ogun

A suspected drug addict allegedly killed his dad identified simply as Baba Basirat on Tuesday night in the Sabo area of Abeokuta.

According to Vanguard, the drug addict was said to have pushed his 69-year-old father who thereafter collapsed.

A source at the family house claimed that the father had taken his son to church for deliverance because of his drug addiction on Tuesday but he started struggling with his father at the entrance of the church and pushing him to death.

He was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in Onikolobo area of Abeokuta where he was confirmed dead.

An anonymous source said:

“Baba became ill and the boy was arguing with him because he is a drug addict who takes dangerous substances and whenever he takes alcohol, he causes trouble.

His father decided  to take him to a church for deliverance alongside his brother, he even bought another alcoholic drink on the way to church and when Baba came back he complained that he wasn’t feeling fine and he was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead.

As a parent, the father was not happy that the boy smokes Indian hemp and so much had been spent on him. He was ready to take him to a psychiatric hospital but for lack of finance. That was why he took him to a church.”

The alleged killer-son reportedly went wild again yesterday, destroying a blue Honda Accord belonging to his brother-in-law before he was  arrested.
