Outrage As Man Proposes to Wife’s Beauty Queen Friend 4 Months After Her Death
Dr Bright Echefu, said to be an Abuja based medical doctor received massive backlash after proposing to his late wife’s ex-beauty Queen friend, Florence Esu, last Saturday, four months after her death. The bride-to-be, his employee, accepted his proposal.
Dr Bright reportedly lost his wife, Cindy Nzeribe, in July, 2015, after a brief illness while she was pregnant with their 3rd child and was buried in August.
Defending his actions, Dr Echefu said his late wife would have approved of his engagement to her close friend at this time and his decision is in the best interest of their children. He added:
“Engagement doesn’t mean we have been sleeping with each other. She is the only friend I can keep in the care of kids,” he said.
