Shocking! ‘Baby Farm’ Where Unwanted Babies Are Sold & Swapped Exposed

A secret ‘baby farm’ at a private Indian hospital in Gwalior district where unwanted newborns are sold and swapped for around  £1,000 each has been exposed.

According to Metro, babies that are products of rape or birthed out of wedlock are delivered at the private 30-bed Palsah hospital and then swapped or sold for adoption.

Police raided the hospital following a tip-off on Saturday night and two babies were rescued.

A police officer who revealed three other babies have been sold to childless couples in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, said,

”When a girl or her parents approached them for termination of pregnancies, doctors at this hospital used to convince them assuring a safe and secret delivery.

Once baby is delivered and mother gets discharged, hospital authorities start hunting for gullible couples who could buy them.

The hospital’s director TK Gupta, manager, Arun Bhadoria, and some parents who bought newborns from the hospital have been charged.

Teams are also being dispatched to Chhattisgarh to search for other couples who bought babies from the hospital in a bid to rescue other babies sold or swapped in the same manner.
