See How Boy Raised $14,000 For His Own Adoption After His Mum Dumped Him
A 9-year-old boy who started a lemonade stand in order to raise funds for his own adoption has touched the hearts of people.
According to Mirror, the brave young boy, Tristin Jacobson‘s biological mother dumped him on the doorstep of a shelter 4 years ago in Missouri. A family was subsequently informed about his case and they took him in.

Years later, Donnie David and her husband were determined to fully adopt the youngster, unfortunately, they couldn’t afford the legal fees attached to Tristin’s adoption – so Tristin took action to raise the required $5,000 by setting up a lemonade stand.
Tristin’s story was covered by Local Newspaper Springfield News Leader. His story went viral and touched the hearts of good Samaritans who began chipping in.
The boy raised $14,000 in total; more than $7,000 of that sum through his lemonade business.
His adoption can now be sorted out and the extra money raised will go towards his college education.
