‘Growing up, my parents couldn’t afford DSTV’ Super Eagles Striker, Odion Ighalo Signed As MultiChoice Ambassador

Super Eagles and Watford football club striker, Odion Ighalo has been announced as brand ambassador of MultiChoice Nigeria. The father of three reminisces how his parent could not afford to buy DStv while growing up in Nigeria.

The excited footballer who described his new deal as a ‘dream come true’, also disclosed that while growing up, he watched football matches at viewing centres because his parents could not afford to buy DStv, CompleteSports reports.

Speaking on his partnership with the brand, Odion Ighalo said:

“I am happy to be part of the MultiChoice family. Growing up, we couldn’t afford to have DStv in our house, so I used to pay to watch football at viewing centres.

”It is a dream come true and I am looking forward to this new relationship with MultiChoice.”
